He comes!

He is coming, coming

wrapped in the silence

of a Virgin humble bosom

woven of sweetness and love.

At midnight a light will shine

like the most brilliant star.

And in every corner of the night

bells will resound and gifts:

Violets and nards, hearts of silver

stars of joy, archangels of fire

soaring through the air

intoning the hymn of Peace

over all of the earth.
